Pretty soon just about everyone using Windows will be using Internet Explorer 7
(see threads here or here)
You might have noticed a new bit called 'Feeds' in the new Favourite's sidebar.

Why not learn about them by making a MoneySavingExpert feed the first one you add
First go to the Feeds thread (available from the A-Z)
Scroll down to your favourite board and click on the orange icon next to it:

You will be shown a simplified version of that board which gives a summary of the first post of each thread. Click on the link to Subscribe:

From now on you can see this page by clicking on it in the Feeds section.
You can change how often the feed is updated from the View Feed Properties link:

I know what you're thinking!
Why would I want to view this 'feed' when I can go to the real page just as fast?
True. But if you start adding feeds for all your favourite sites, you'll be able to find out the latest events on a large number of sites very quickly just by going through your list:

I've built up 135 subscriptions!
To make it easy to subscribe to feeds, you also have an icon just under the search box which can sometimes help you add a feed for a page quickly:

But this often adds a basic and/or general feed - In the case of vBulletin forums it only adds the main feed for the site and not the board you are currently viewing.
It is often better to see if a site offers categorized feeds to suit your needs as above
(another example of this is the BBC)
Internet Explorer 7 is just one way to view feeds. You may find you prefer a more advanced reader.
The Feed list also has
buttons which will add feeds to the excellent Google Reader.0
