Recycling shredded paper (merged)

I have been happerly shredding all my letters and junk mail in my new snazzy paper shredder but still haven`t thought about what I can do with it all OS.
I dont want to throw it all out,I want to recycle it but I aint got the foggiest idea of how?
Maybe I can make something out of it? But it would have to have some sort of use.
If I had furry pets I could of used it as bedding but I`ve got a snake and a lizard which have no need for it.
I have nearly a whole bin liner full of it.
Surely there must be something old style I can do with it??

We put ours in the compost between layers of vegetable matter. Only the worms have any chance of finding out our personal details!Official DFW Nerd No 096 - Proud to have dealt with my debt!0

Use it to stuff sausauge type draft excluders or as said before the compost bin.Proud to be DEBT FREE AT LAST0

Buy a hamster and use it for bedding.
NO seriously they must have a collection of recyleables in your area? Ours come twice a month and collect the glass, plastic and paper...NO to pasty tax We won!!!! Just shows that people power works! Don't be apathetic to your cause!0 -
Make papier mache out of it, buy some cheapy craft paint and use to create OS christmas presents, tree decorations etc.0

Could you give it to a play school or junior school for either the school pets or for stuffing toys and things they make?0

Compost / papier mache ... or make bricks out of it.
We soak the shredded paper, mix with some soaked newspaper and a bit of sawdust, squeeze in the brick maker, leave to dry and have some fuel for the Winter ....GC - March 2024 -0 -
Line the bottom of the compost bin then add all the waste in , stops it sticking to the sides,0

I have been saving mine in the hope that I can screw it up into balls and use like firelighters. I haven't lit a fire yet, am holding out as long as I can!0
