Don't spend five pounds to dry clean a shirt. Donate it to the charity shop instead. They'll clean it and put it on a hanger. Next morning buy it back for two pounds.

Went and saw the Woolies one in store - damn ugly, not sure why everyone is going mad about it. This looks better but the prices are coming down, I plan on holding off another 6 months or so and I reckon there will be a better choice of quality sets in this price range.

How does this compare with the woolies one?

THis TV has a better contrast ratio 1200-1 as against 1000-1 for the woolworths one.It also has a good review on avforums

  • I've only bought a couple of things from Aria, they seem fine. They have a shop up in Manchester also.

I'm tempted as woolies are messing around. Not so sure about the silver surround though

I prefer the look of the woolworths model. Silver looks cheap to me.

This Aria model is actually a Teco model .I am tempted to buy this but aria charge over £20 shipping which bumps the price up to over £60 more than the woolworths tv ( which could be picked up in store if they had any). Savastore also sell the same model ( its at £459 inc vat on their site but shipping is cheaper than aria)

fuzzyrazer - that looks REALLY good!!

I'd convinced myself I didn't need one, looking at yours I'm now really tempted again. Love the stand as well.

    Mick.

PS Looks like others were impressed as well though... none Left at the discounted price!!
