Orange faulty LG Chocolate Phone

Hi there,

My recently purchased LG Chocolate phone, bought from Orange direct (approx 2 months ago) is no longer powering up.

Does anyone have any experience of Orange's policy when dealing with faulty returns? I reported the problem to Orange and they have advised in the first instance to visit an Orange Shop.

I am aware that it is the retailers responsibility to sort out faulty products. Will Orange fob me off to the manufacturer or issue me with a new replacement phone? What are other MSE's experiences of similar problems with faulty Orange phones?

    Orange customer service have come up trumps on this ocassion.

    Despite being given duff advice at an Orange Shop, I called Orange again, and after they went through a few obvious fault finding scenarios, they confirmed that a new handset would be here with me today (sunday between 6 pm and 10 pm) . True to their word a new handet was delivered at 5.55 pm.

    Well impressed!
