What's the deal?

This week Tesco* offering 1000 free Clubcard points when you spend £99 on wine, plus there’s free delivery on all orders too. Hic! All wine deliveries are free until Sunday 8 October as well (usually £4.95).

How to make 1000 points be worth £40.

Simply spend over £99 on wine before 8 October and enter Ecoupon code XXPLYT at the check out. You'll get an additional 1000 Clubcard points - while these are only worth £10 if you redeem them in-store, redeem them on Tesco Clubcard Deals and they're worth £40 (see Loyalty Schemes article for a full explanation of this).

Can I be first to say there's a new Wine Festival at Tesco?

Haven't looked closely but there are always plenty of bargain, especially if there are any good codes about!

We stock up and never have to buy wine instore.

For anyone who loves Rioja or is new to wine and would like to try an easy to drink yet very deep, soft, and complex wine then the Marques De La Concordia Signa Reserva is half price at the moment down to £28.44 for 6. I bought 12 a few weeks ago and it's superb wine. I love my wine and have a small collection of wine but you won't find better value than this if you like red or want to start drinking more of it. I posted them on here, but that is against the rules so they have been removed.

Go to discount codes board, and to tesco new codes, and you will see quite a few for wine, the largest being £20 saving on spend of £50+

i noticed that the montana marlborough sauvignon blanc is discounted as well - now only £4.62 a bottle - I usually pay over £6 in store

This looks a good value case for £33.46. Includes Wolf Blass Presidents Selection Shiraz 2004 - Gold medal winner, Jacob's Creek Shiraz 2004 - Gold medal winner and Bin 40 Merlot 2005 - Silver medal winner. There seems to be a bit of confusion about the other three bottles included in this case. Seems good value for money.

It is possible to get two cases delivered (using a discount voucher) for £3.49/bottle.

This is a great price for a very good wine.
