Hope you can help ! Desperate for a roast dinner again !!
Inherited a 20 year old Zanzussi fan oven which has suddenly stopped working.
It has an element at the top which still heats up for the grill but the oven only gets luke warm.
Not ready to replace kitchen so hoping to repair it without huge call out fees from electrical companies.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The top element that you mention is normally the grill element…this only comes on when you select the grill…it doesn’t normally come on to heat the oven during normal cooking.
The oven element in a fan oven is normally a coil type element that is wrapped around the fan at the back of the oven…..You will have to remove the cover plate to get to it.
Check that this is working before you go any further….if it’s not heating up when you put the oven on that is more than likely your problem….if it is heating up but the oven isn’t getting up to temperature it could be the oven thermostat that is at fault.
If the element is at fault have a look at this link:

Yes, we had the same problem with our Neff oven - it did take some time to locate an element for our 24 year old oven ( no local dealer/ repair person could source a replacement!) Thank God for the web! - the oven works a treat now!I'm mad!!!! :rotfl::jand celebrating everyday every year!!!0

Hi I think I might have the same problem all of a sudden the oven is not heating up.....the fan seems to be working fine but the oven doesnt get hot anymore
I have a Kuppersbush double oven and the grill bit at the top seems to be working fine.
How do you check the coil element works ...by putting ure hand near to see if it gets hot ?
Hi I looked on the site recommend about but Kuppersbush wasn't in the list. Does anyone where I could get the heating coil element for my cooker ?"The time is always right to do what is right"0 -

If you remove the element you can test it with a circuit tester or multimeter.0 -
Hi ahill,
The only site I can see elements for the Kuppersbush is
The element man.
https://www.elementman.co.uk
Have bought my element from espares, just waiting for it to arrive, to attempt
installing it .
hope that helps

Thanks for the response I am going to check out the oven tomorrow to confirm it is the coil element that is not working then move on from there"The time is always right to do what is right"0

This place does elements for Kupperbusch & they are a lot cheaper than the element man.

Yes it official the coil type element wrapped around the fan at the back of the oven is not giving off any heat on my Kuppersbusch EEB 9640.0.
My next question what be how do you get the old/put in the new coil as it seems to go into the back of the cooker ? I am quite got a DIY and would really like to do it myself if possible.
I also believe that the grill part in my top oven has never worked properly as only one of the element loop actually heats up. Would this be a cheap and easy thing to replace while I am replacing the coil element for the fan oven part ?"The time is always right to do what is right"0
