Halifax have increased the rate on their ISA Saver Direct from 4.75% to 5.00%, effective from today (1st September 2006).
The new rate now appears on the Halifax website, here.

I have an ISA Saver Direct with halifax, and i'v just checked online and it still says 4.75% and my web saver still says 4.5% rather than 4.75%

Yes, when I login to my account online and view my portfolio, it shows the websaver rate as 4.5%.
However, I would ignore that for the time being, as the websaver rate is now 4.75% and ISA Saver Direct rate is 5.00%, effective from today (Sep 1). I think they will update the rates in the online portfolio from tomorrow (or Monday), they usually do updates the following day.Please call me 'Kazza'.0 -
