Is there a storm in your area at the moment? The weather usually effects the signal. Also usually the signal isnt as strong in summer due to good weather so SKY turning the strength down thinking it can save energy due to good weather. Thus when storms hit it all goes out
How long has this problem been going on?[FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]"The internet is a great way to get on the net."

It sounds like your dish is out of alignment, possible due to high winds. It could also be due to moisture getting into the LNB on the arm of the dish.

Have you tried checking the cable connection at the back of the box. Make sure you turn the mains power off before unscrewing the connection and then make sure the inner copper core is protruding out by about 2-3 mm. If it isn't try screwing the the whole metal body of the connector onto the cable a bit more.0

possible dish misallignment. or poor connections as said above.

Yep, done that. My OH, unplugged the unit and pulled all the plugs and wires out and then put them all back in. Im getting a bit fed up of it.0 -
Go to services and then picture settings. press 0 1 and you should get a new menu up and at the top it should say lnb setup. go to that and turn this off. Go all the way back out and then do this again but this time turn it on. Go all the way out and turn your sky completley off. Leave it for ten 15 mins and then turn back on and see if you get your listings. If this doesnt work have you checked your signal strength and quality??????0

Surely it's better to simply check the signal strength and quality in the services menu!
