Using my Iphone to access net on my PC?

I have an iphone 3G with o2, with an unlimited web bolt on.

Can I hook my iphone upto my pc and use it to access the net?

I have read about internet tethering, but it seems to suggest I need another bolton with o2?

You would need to get the tethering bolt-on to do this. They're clamping down on people using it as a modem without it (as its not within the T&C's) so if you're found using it without one then they'll just block your internet.

Iv done some reading about this. It sounds as if I just need to add the right APN settings and it should work. I have OS 3.1.3 and its a locked o2 iphone 3g.... however I cant seem to get it to work...

It may be easy but again it fond out you'll lose data access.

Regardless of if it's jailbroken or not if o2 find out (as it's against there terms and conditions) and drop your Data/Wifi allowance your bill will rocket up.
