I've had a mixed week. I set fewer targets than previously, and that's made me feel a bit better. So it might be time to up the stakes a bit.
Aims for next week
I've had a mixed week. I set fewer targets than previously, and that's made me feel a bit better. So it might be time to up the stakes a bit.
- Carry on with spending diary, get weekly spending below the £100 mark
- Have at least one no-spend day
- Have at least two no-alcohol days
- Take lunch to work at least three days a week
- Claim back company expenses for the new mouse I've bought (I'm showing early signs of RSI and needed a more comfortable mouse for my job)
Aims for next week
- Carry on with spending diary. This week's maximum is £90 for everything.
- Take lunch to work at least three days.
- Aim for at least one no-spend day
- Three no-alcohol days
- Claim back ergonomic mouse from company expenses

Heres mine from last week:This weeks goals:
1. Still dont smoke (getting into the habit of that one) Yep
2. Forget about the bottle of Tesco fake Baileys at the back of the cupboard for 'emergencies' (well I forget about everything I write on here until the next week so I might as well give it a go).Forgot all about it til the weekend
3. Take lunch to work everydayall except once
4. Take stock of the storecupboard and think of some yummy using up meals to claw back budget.made a freezer list - yikes :eek:
5. Limit diet coke intake to 2 cans a day.Nope - its at three but it is rola cola rather than the expensive stuff
This weeks goals:
1. No Smoking
2. Going out on Friday so dont spend a small fortune (or make a fool of myself)
3. Grocery shopping to be less than £10 this week
4. Take lunch to work everyday
5. Limit cola intake to two cans per day
6. Try and find one item to put on Amazon/ebay

Missed last week as was away. Week before:
1. Sort through boxes from old house - find stuff for eBay/car boot Done! Several boxes now waiting to go
2. Cancel lensplan (save £27.50 a month - buy off net when run out) Letter on my desk to be posted today, DD cancelled
3. Cancel hospital plan (save £5.88 a month) Ditto
4. Chase up water meter - have asked for one - no response yet Web request lost in ether - phone request put in - waiting for survey
5. Switch house insurance (save about £60 a month) Still checking small print to ensure same level of cover - will sort this week
6. Get married on Saturday under budget! (set £2500 budget earlier in the year including short "honeymoon" break - so far are on target for being under £2250!). Yep - great day - great holiday - and within budget!
Goals for this week:
1. Sort out house insurance switch
2. List at least 5 books on Amazon
3. List at least 5 things on eBay
4. File all my paper work so I am organized

Well I'm quite pleased with that. If my multipack of crisps hadn't run out on Tuesday I'd have managed 5 no spenders too - instead spent 30p on a bag of cheese & onion Walkers to go with my packed lunch! Anyway, next weeks goals are similar:

£15 budget for my meal out with friend on Thursday

Aims for last week were,
1. keep food and eating out to less than £15 and use up all the food in the cupboard - Sort of Fail spent £19.24 but can reclaim £3.10 from work
2. Chase up paperwork for bills account Got my card yesterday and PIN should arrive this week
3. Pack (moving house on 11 August) and sort stuff out.Begining to get everything sorted
4. List at least 3 items on ebay 3 items sold this week and another 2 listed (one of which will sell)
5. Sort out stuff for car boot sale 4 boxes of stuff ready to go
6. Take lunch to work at least 4 days this week. Managed 3 and a half days
Aims for this week
1. PACK!!!!!!
2. Sort out what Scottish Gas have done with my eletric account (they changed me from Scottish Power with out me knowing)
3. Finish sorting out items for car boot sale and sell it all next Sunday

5. Move house
6. Go to ikea without spending too much money and buy only the stuff I need

1- five no spend days (tues-sat), got food coming for the week so won't need to buy any food till next sunday and got some posting to do on mondayerm today is my last chance of a no spend day...it's been a bad week
2- gym 5 times this week, if i'm gonna keep this i better make it worthwhiletoday will be my fifth :j
3- send off registered letter to bos for charges on monday yup and got a reply to say they are sorry blah blah blah and a costomer service advisor will look into my complaint

6- finish tiling in kitchen (please god i just want it finished already!!!)one of the three walls are done but been busy going back to work
7- try not to kill my boss for the two days i have to work with her before her hols! then find a new job while she's away so i don't have to talk to her again!managed to not kill her, she's in canada now :j fingers crossed for a new job soon!

Last weeks goals:
1) Lose 3 lbs in weight Nope, and I've tried really hard, I think I'm destined to be fat forever!!
2) Exercise every day Yep did this, swimming, walking, gardening, I don't know how much more I could do!!
3) Limit spending to £50 (think this will be hard with kids on holiday!! Well I managed to limit my spending, so am really pleased with myself!!
4) Get the stuff sorted to boot sale (for sunday the 13th) Errrrr........not done yet.......ooopppss
5) Bake some cakes, bread and biscuits with all the stuff I bought last week!! Nor this, even with my daughter asking me constantly, I just haven't had the time, but I will make some today, when I get back from this fete thing we're going to, I promise!!
Goals for this week
1) Lose 3 lb in weight (I really really want to do this, 2 weeks I've been exercising like a maniac, weighing food, being careful.....and nothing so far)
2) Another low cost week spends wise, try and limit it to £20 on non-essential stuff - last week I included my food in the £50 spends, but I know this weeks food bill will be higher, so I will put aside £20 for 'holiday' treats!!
3) Sort out the boot sale stuff for next week, I really need 2 new tyres so this is really important!!
4) Bake some stuff!!
5) On 3 days I want to limit my spending to under £1.
6) Find some other ways to maximise my income.I believe that I have the strength to make my dreams come true:T September Challenge £5 per day - £0/£150 :T0 -
Well here is how I've done/or not the case maybe!
1. Have at least 1 no spend day (i can't actually remember the last time I had one of these!) only managed one, but did manage one!
2. Do a proper big budget again, need to re-evaluate EVERYTHING!tried but could have put a bit more effort in
3. No takeawaysi have had a takeaway but i didnt have to pay for it!
4. Go to gym at least 2 times! failed
5. Stick to dietfailed
6. send old mobile off to mobile2cashyup, did this one!
I did also manage to list 1 thing on ebay and 3 things on amazon, 1 of which has sold already! woo!

This week I aim to:
1. Have a big clear out of the flat and see what else I can list on ebay/amazon
2. Not go out for any meals (apart from lunch today)
3. Take a packed lunch to work everyday this week (and eat it!)0
