    Well this was last week.

    1) only go to sainsurys twice this week after work to get reduced to clear items -:j managed it went in once onfriday and bought nothing but did go in today and spend £2.72
    2) Plan my menus for at least this week -:o never happened but about to plan for next week. That is what happens when you have a husband on nights
    3) Stash some left over cash from last months wages in my ISA -Not done yet but the money is waiting to be moved. Will have to wait until friday as I have day off
    4) Once I have been paid move £100 in total over to my various non urgent savings - Not done yet but will do in the day next few days
    5) stay off the Jaffa cakes - well I stayed off the jaffa cakes but ate loads of other rubbish :rotfl:
    6) try and loose weight while getting husband to gain -failed husband lost a couple of llbs and I gained a couple. But serves me right for what I have been eating

    This week my goals are:

    1) only go to sainsurys twice this week after work to get reduced to clear items

    2) Plan my menus for at least this week - going to do that in a min when I have finish posting this message

    3)stay off the Jaffa cakes

    4)try and loose weight while getting husband to gain

    5) Take my lunch break and go for a walk to try and loose some this blasted weight

    6) Try and have a personal non-spend for at 3 days. As food comes from the household accounts so don't really count that as spending if you know what I mean

    7)Drink loads of water as it good for skin etc

    That is me I think.

    Yours

  • Hey everyone,

    Here are my goals from LAST week:-

    * Finishing big house clean and sort out - finish tidying bedroom, dusting, mopping, hoovering
    Just about - its done to a standard I am happy with - maybe not my mother!

    * Finish filing
    Yes - me and OH finished this on Wednesday afternoon. He's got one file to sort out but our paperwork is more organised than it has been in years!

    * Wash outside of car (done inside)
    No, carry over. Car is kaput so visiting garage tomorrow :wall:

    * Gardening (cutting back, planing and barrel)
    No, barrel and window boxes were planted by someone else for village competition. Still need to do pruning, cutting back and weeding

    * Paint cubby hole in bedroom
    No

    * Ring vets
    No - was waiting for a personal recommendation but friend didn't get back to me.

    * Find some free Fringe tickets
    A lovely friend is donating some free comedy tickets she can't use for us tomorrow and we are going to sit and look hopeful and see if we get into anything else free (its press review time so they want busy looking audiences!)

    * Glass painting - finish order
    No, oops.

    Here are my goals for THIS week:-

    * Four no spend days

    * Don't get too depressed about going back to work on Wednesday

    * Take lunch to work - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday

    * Decide on evening class I'd like to do, find money to pay for it and book

    * Job application

    * Finish glass painting!

    * Clean outside of car

    * Gardening as above

    * Clean house again before returning to work

    * Look into Tesco savings loophole Clubcard thing and set up if applicable to me

    * Look into reclaiming bank charges for 2 credit card accounts - doing that filing threw up lots of old paperwork!

    Good luck everyone!

    These were mine:

    1. Try to generate a bit more money via QuidCo even if it is just searches etc. Yes, did a bit but not that much.
    2. Try & get some decent exercise. Did plenty of walking this week! Pleased with myself.
    3. Contact Marbles to make sure they have actually cancelled an account I wrote to them about quite a few months ago...I never got a letter back confirming this. Yes! And they did close the account.
    4. Stick to shopping list on Wednesday when I get fresh veggies at Tesco. Yep! Potatoes only. In and out of the supermarket like an assasin.....err, I mean I stuck to the task in hand, I didn't actually assisinate anyone.....err moving on...
    5. Find something to list on Amazon or EBAY. No, failed, Didn't even look this week.

    This weeks goals are:

    1. Definitely spend only what I need to in the supermarket as I am going to go overdrawn this month and I need to limit it as much as possible.
    2. Buy a weekly bus ticket instead of getting daily returns to save £2.
    3. continue with good amounts of exercise.

    Nothing else really...just got to limit spending this week big style.

    Good luck peeps.
