with the Basic Editor, you have to wrap your text in vb code

to post a link you would use the following format:

    1fzdds

    Example:

    Entering
    1fzbk6

in the reply box would make this link:

It's easy to insert links with the Standard Interface.

When you are ready to post a link, you click createlink.gif above the reply box.

You are then asked the text and url

    1fz4hs

these will write the code into the reply box for you -

    1fz4li

When you click Save Changes or Preview Changes the result will be -

With the Enhanced interface, you type the text that goes over the link first

    For example:

    Write:
Please Click Here to find out more

    Highlight ‘Click Here’:
    1fy9g9

Click the createlink.gif icon above the reply box and this popup appears for the url:

    1fybuu

    Result
    Important Note
When the popup opens requesting the url, you'll notice that http:// is already written in the box and highlighted.

    Please delete this before pasting

Usually when filling in such boxes this is unecessary, but at the moment the forum software will often add your text to the end of the http:// rather than replace it.
