What connections do u have on both your laptop and tv? Do you need video AND sound on your tv? If you have HDMI on both, thats the easiest way to do it.
  • If they don't both have hdmi.

You can use a VGA to VGA, standard pc / laptop to monitor, but remember this will not make your sound come out of the tv...

    Good luck!

One of these (HDMI Male to VGA) to get the picture across to the TV (£2.98 from fleabay)

One of these (£2.44 from Fleabay) to get the sound across (3.5mm Stereo to Twin/Dual 2x RCA Phono Audio Cable).

Unless of course the laptop already has HDMI but who knows??

You might be able to use a standard monitor lead.

what does the HDMI look like on the laptop, thanks
  • IF HDMI is available on both TV and Laptop then that is the best for Picture Quality.

    Manual HERE

You do not have an HDMI port so you need the things I linked earlier. The audio cable plugs into the Headphone socket, the other end (red/white) go to into the TV.
