Disney have some AMAZING deals on their site for Saratoga Springs and Old Key West. Look for dates and choose 'Disney Deluxe Villas'. These are their DVC (timeshare) resorts so you get studios (partial kitchens) or apartments with full kitchens so you can 'self cater' and not have to rely on the expensive restaurants. However, from July to Nov you can also get Free Disney Dining Plan. 2 of the Table Service meals can be swapped for Character Dining Meals so it is worth bearing this in mind.

Old Key West: http://disneyworld.disney.go.com/wdw...ngPage&count=9

We are going in October/November and have paid £954 for 6 days INCLUDING Dining Plan for a 1 bedroom apartment. You do have to book your tickets with them to get the Free Dining Plan but these prices, for half term and summer hols, are amazing!!

They are offering the same park ticket packages as all UK travel agents and you actually get more. We also got a free game of mini golf, preferential viewing for all of us at MK and at Epcot, 1/2 hour motorboat hire, 10% off disney store, voucher for free gift at Planet Hollywood, $15 voucher off bill at Planet Hollywood.

You can get - for 4 people:

Studio - 1 bathrooms, whirlpool bath, partial kitchen, balcony/terrace, flat screen TV's - for £111 per day INCLUDING Dining Plan. Dining plan for 2 adults and 2 kids is worth around £80 per day in itself.

1 bed apartment - 2 bathrooms, whirlpool bath, full kitchen, washer drier, balcony/terrace, 1 bedroom, flat screen TV's - for just under £200 per day including dining.

2 bed apartment - as above but with 2 bedrooms - for £280 per day including dining.

It is cheaper to stay in a studio/1 bed with dining plan than to go to a Value Resort like Pop or All stars where you get just a room and no a dining plan as they are not offered there. :j

Edited to add: You also get free transport to and from the airport with the Disney Magical Express. You need to book this at least one day before you require it but it means you bypass the 2nd luggage reclaim at Orlando International as they collect your cases from the airport and leave them in your room at your Disney resort.

Also to add, you can get a free Harry Potter World package if you book your holiday with Virgin Holidays. However, you do not have to book their accomodation with the 'holiday' to get the freebies.

If you go onto www.virginholidays.co.uk you can book a 'fly drive' but remove the car insurance so the car comes up as £0.00 if you do not require a car or can get one cheaper elsewhere. We use taxis and then when we go to Disney will use their transaportation or cabs.

They have the park tickets for sale, but have an offer for tickets on Busch/Aquatica/Seaworld where it is 3 parks for the price of 2. Usually £96 it is £64 and includes transportation.

Because you have booked through 'Virgin Holidays' website you get the Free Virgin Express thing where you check in at Downtown Disney on the last day and your cases get taken to the airport and they collect you and you get a transfer back to the airport.

You also get the free breakfast in the Three Broomsticks, gift and early admission to Harry Potter World (see the brochure there are some terms, it is not mentioned on the website but you can download the brochure from their site, it is on page 45 of the one with Harry Potter on the front) because you have booked your holiday through Virgin Holidays. The 'online' discount they offer means you get it for the same price as booking the flights on their own but with some added extras.

    And finally....

We are staying in a suite at the Hilton, opposite Seaworld/Aquatica on Interntional Drive and we checked prices and they also have offers for October of £100 a night on one bedroom suites - again full kitchen with washer/drier and 2 bathrooms: http://www.hilton.com/en/hi/promotions/Hilton_Grand_Vacations_Club/index.jhtml?WT.srch=1

Saves on the amount of clothing/luggage allowance you'll have to take for trip. You can also wash the new things you buy before you come home.

    How much was your flights?

We paid around £2700 for 2 ad, 2 kids, return flights Gatwick-MCO, V-room, 14 day Universal 2 park ticket and the 3 for 2 Busch/Seaworld/Aquatica. Obviously this get's us the bus service on the way back and the Universal Harry Potter World package. Includes a basic car but we would not be using it.

Flights on their own on VA were going to cost £2100 for the 4 of us (and were selling out, earlier flight in the day was £130 more, so this is why we grabbed them).

We are going for 21 days and fly out on the weekend of the October half term.

You can get 4% cashback via Quidco but Virgin had 10% online discount so we preferred to get that and as the website was down called them and they still honoured the 10%.

Tbh we only wanted the breakfast in Three Broomsticks and get to HPW early so this is why we wanted to book with Virgin Holidays for the flights and ticket.

Hi Vicki, we are going there on 7th November, I just checked and it is still coming up with the prices I quoted. That fortnight is a good one. On 31st-2nd you have 'Mickey's not so scary Halloween party', then it turns in Xmas around the 9th and you can go to 'Mickey's Christmas Party' and you get the see the Osbourn Family Lights at MGM. They cost extra but can be booked on the Disney website, everyone else has to leave the park, they rope sections off and you get an armband and they do special things for the night. We went for the Princess and Pirate party when we last went and it was fab.

On the home page choose 'Hotel & Ticket' then add your dates, then it will either:

ask what accomodation you require - choose 'Disney Deluxe Villas' or

give you a list of prices. Scroll down, choose page 2 and you'll see it - about 6th/7th on the list - says 'from £777 and then when you click into it, if you are within the specified period it will say 'Includes free dining plan'.

Here is another page about the offer:

Eat, Sleep and Play for less than £40 pppn*

    http://wdtc.disneyinternational.com/Special-Offers.asp?ID=28

*£40 based on:2 adults and 2 children staying 14 nights in a Studio accommodation at Disney’s Saratoga Springs or Disney’s Old Key West Resort and the 14 day Ultimate Ticket for the price of a 7 day Premium Ticket for 2 adults and 2 children and Free Disney Dining Plan for all members of the family Stay dates 1 August – 30 September’10 Book by 2 August’10

November is a good time to go as the parks go through changes from Halloween to Xmas so it not all samey. It has been a while since I have been for Xmas but it just amazes me how it changes over night. They must have hundreds and hundreds of people working to get lights and decorations up. Because people go at Xmas it tends to be quite quiet at Xmas.

Hls - did you get your park tickets from Virgin with that price??

If not get the 3 for 2 park ticket for B/A/SW (this is not in the brochure you can find it on their site when you try and book something - call them and ask for it, it gives you free transportation to Busch) and also get the 2 park Universal ticket from them ASAP otherwise you'll miss out on the free breakfast offer/gift/early admission offer at HPW, it needs to be added to your booking to qualify (means you'll be able to pay for it later too when the balance is due).

Tbh, the park tickets are the killer and they have cost us around £1700 for 4 of us. We have a timeshare and we have been saving our weeks in the bank and have exchanged into a DVC unit - we are staying in a luxury 1 bed apartment at the Animal Kingdom Villas (the new Kidani Village - I still cannot believe it), we have paid an exchange fee and it is costing us £175 for the week. We used another week for the Hilton Apartment at Seaworld and have paid for the last week as the offer was so good with free dining and we thought we would save our week and go again next year staying somewhere different in DVC while they are still putting units into our exchange bank company. We have paid less than 5k for 3 weeks with all our park tickets, flights, accomodation and extras.

    Hi Helen,

If you are going to do Discovery Cove book this on Expedia as you get 12% cashback for the tickets which are the same price as anywhere else. Likewise for the other tickets except disney - all on Expedia with 12% cashback.

Do look into the 3 for 2 though as they are £69 for adults tickets for the 3 parks, 14 days admission. OMG, we have been holding off on going, waiting for Harry Potter World to open, LOL!!

I think Halloween will be finished by 18th November though as Xmas will be 'on'.

    Cannot wait!!
