Suggestion for a new bot/checker tool

hi there,

i would like to make my suggestion for a new tool along the lines of your flightchecker & tunechecker tools

how about a "cruise" one

with the ever increasing popularity of cruising, now no longer just being primarily reserved for the grey generation and with the myriad of websites out there offering the same packages on the same boat, it would be nice im sure and appreciated by more than just a few if there was a one-stop-shop to compare all [or the majority] of the best/most comprehensive sites out there

i dont know how they work, do you need the website owners permissions to include them in your tool, or can your just crawl/scan their sites and upload the results ?

i currently am looking to find a cruise [p&o - azura - june - around the u.k] for my parents and wanting to ensure their hard earned retirement gets them the best deal possible, ive just got to start to trawl through my bookmarks from a-z checking each site one by one and saving/noting down the price as i go

as you can see from an extract of my favorites below i've got a few to do and a tool would be real handy

so MSE what do you think, is it a possible & viable suggestion, is it too complicated, or do you feel it wouldnt warrant it calculating whats involved against what proportion of user would benefit it

i look forward to your respsonse, preferably before i reach the end of the mile long list :shocked:

fnc3, that's a good idea, I know there are sites that do offer similar, but they are mostly in us$, and most cruise lines are now insiting customers have a US address to buy in $.:mad:

it would just be nice if the powers that be would at least respond and acknowledge the suggestion has been viewed/considered, even if it is not viable

even a quick click of the thanks button by a member of staff would indicate that it has not been lost in the www and ones time and effort put in on a board where it is specifically for such a purpose has been worthwhile
