Its not possible to offer cheques when making the listing for this type of auction.0 -

It is if you discreetly mention it in your listing.
i.e " No paypal account? Feel free to contact me"0 -

Like I said in my 1st post then you end the item early.
Obviously I'm talkin about dealing outside of ebay - but serves them right in this instance for trying to force people to use paypal.0 -
I'm not a fan of Ebay's bullyboy tactics but dealing out of Ebay has much worse downfalls than paying you paypal fees.Third time lucky on WW I hope :j

I'm not that fussed about the fees (particularily as the 5p insert fee more than covers the paypal fees), I'm more annoyed about a number of my customers being shut out of my BIN's. And as a seller there aren't really any pitfalls to trading outside of ebay - not with what I sell anyway.0 -
Does this include Best Offers?0

Members will be charged the full insertion fee at the time of the listing but will be reimbursed for the Insertion Fee amount paid over £0.05 for eligible listings by 31st August 2006 by means of a credit on their eBay invoice. The invoice credit memo for qualifying items will read "Immediate Payment Promotion
Sorry I just wondered if I'm reading this correctly? Does this mean they will charge you the full listing price and then refund anything over 5p per item back to your account by 31st August - meaning we have to pay the full amount due when our invoices arrive and then they get interest on our money before they pay it back to us as credit on our Ebay accounts. HMM!!!Not quite as good as it looks is it?!
I'd rather still have the money sitting in my paypal account than in Ebays bank account. However, if you list a lot of items then I suppose in the long run its worth a go.0
