Phones 2 U Direct - Cashback on Ported Number
Options
I am just about to send of the first cashback claim to Phones 2 U Direct.
Trying to concentrate very hard to doing everything by the letter, I notice that they have a clause concerning ported numbers and I quote:
"If you have transferred a number after connection and where this does not break the terms laid out elsewhere in this document, we will also require documented proof from the network that the number has been transferred onto the contract we have set you up on."
Anyone had any experience of this? What sort of documentation would be accepted? They are closed today so I cannot call them about this but I would like to be prepared as the clock is ticking.

The confirmation letter from your new network that your number change will be effective from xxx date and first bill which shows your original number .0

Cheers.
Worryingly though, on further examination of their T&C it seems to read that if you port a number onto O2, that it is deemed as a disconnection & voids the cashback.
I am pretty sure that this wasn't part of the terms 6 months ago and assume it's just designed for not paying out........0 -
For O2 -One can port the number only at the time of order not after placing the order. This is true in case with Mobileshop,CPW & o2 online.I don't know about the phones2u.Did you gave the porting code to phones2u at the time of order? if the answer is yes then it will not invalidate the cash back.0

Luckily I did give them the PAC during the ordering process (however when you mentioned this I did doubt myself & had to look up all paperwork)
The attractions of PAYG are getting stronger all the time .........0
