Hey Hey
I've just bought a pack of 8 vapextech AAA rechargeable batteries but our charger has disappeared
I've looked everywhere for it but 'tis nowhere to be found
so I'm after a new one. Preferably a quickish and automatic one - I've bought some 900mAh AAA batts and I already have some 2500mAh AA batteries I bought a few months back. I'd like a charger which can cut out automatically as the one we used didn't have a cut off so I had to watch how long I left them on charge for
Any recommendations for places to buy from? I've been thinking Amazon or Ebay but there are so many and it's quite confusing, even for the mighty crabster
Hope you can help :T

This one has a very good spec and is good value for money even when the P&P is added. Quoted charge times are 180 minutes for the 900mAh AAA's and 220 minutes for the 2500mAh AA's. Microprocessor controlled auto sensing.

Can't get better than that, and another 4 AA batteries for you too (always come in handy) But hurry, its discounted at the moment!0 -

Err I don't think so! The OP wants a good charger and that isn't! It "Charges overnight in approx 10 hours" and has a "Manual charging system". Don't be fooled by the free batteries, get a good quality charger to get the best out of your batteries!

I bought this one. Although its a bit more expensive ( it does have 4 batteries too) but it charges in about 45 mins and has a car adapter and it will work abroad. And if you buy from 7dayshop be aware they are slow with delivery about 10 days but worth the wait.I don't believe it!0 -
Thanks everyone
:T
The one from 7dayshop.com looks cheaper (even with £3.95 added in P&P at the final stage  ) and better spec though I'm a lil worried about a couple of threads on this forum warning people not to buy from them as apparently they've been in trouble with Trading Standards there. Still, if I get it on my credit card should I be ok in terms of protection?
Also are there any voucher/coupon codes that Crabby can use at 7dayshop's checkout??
:T Couldn't find any on the discount board
but I know there were a few not long ago but this forum's search tool is utter tripe (sorry webby)

Hope I'm not to late to put forward the Ansmann Digispeed 4, terriffic workhorse and highly recommended by lots of websites. I have had one for coming upto 3 years, unfortuantley after buying some cheap batteries from Aldi it ceased working. After contacting Ansmann they asked me to return it to them (I no longer had a box or receipt), they found a problem reported it back to me and have now sent me a brand new charger + 4 batteries, an absolutley stunning service.
These chargers are not cheap but are very, very reliable (unless you use horrible batteries). It charges a set of 2500mah in around 20-30mins!! Because it charges so fast it has a fan built in that intermittently cuts in and out, it is a thoroughly intelligent charger too, detecting faulty cells etc. For true quality, build and warranty you cannot beat it.
The cheapest I could find it was £35.00 HERE at The Digital Camera CompanyThe early bird may get the worm, but the second mouse gets the cheese.0 -
oh dear..£35 for a battery charger..that's really dear..0

I've already ordered the one from 7dayshop.com
£10.49 incl. P&P and it charges in 3-4 hours which is good enough for me - I may as well plough the extra money into more rechargebale batteries instead of an ultra fast charger :T
