New AOL Homepage Question

I've been with AOL for a while now(yes I know), and they have just changed the design of their homepage. Now when I log on the search bar at the top shows www2.aol.co.uk , is that right?
The reason I ask is that the search bar used to be blank i.e. for searching. Also when I tried just now to access these forums a popup appeared asking me to download a file but when I used firefox the popup didnt appear?
Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

That homepage is fine, Its because AOL had a .com homepage and someone had the AOL.co.uk who wanted to sell it to AOL and AOL said NO so they got that www2 so thats the rumour Ive heard, how true it is I dont know

Any ideas why I'm being asked to d/load a file?
It comes up as

Mmm odd, sorry about asking but I think im sunburnt :rolleyes:
It may be that the webpage is getting confused in the AOL browser as a script download, try Updating the AOL browser and also that file I would of thought is quite safe but hang on for other replies.0 -

Has any one fixed this yet?
Im having the same problem on aol.
Cannot access forums credit cards,shopping or moneytips just keep getting secruity warning do you wish to download this file.
Please can any one help im completly useless with computers.0 -
Just because AOL is your ISP, it doesn't mean that you have to use their crap software! Close the AOL browser and open Internet Explorer.:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0
