DS2 and DS3 are growing at the moment and appear to have bottomless legs so I've upped the snacks to include more protein & carbs and not as much sweet stuff, as they both like savoury snacks :T

Is it really that time of the week again already?!

I've got a horrendously busy week coming up (Christmas starts here for me! :xmassmile) so just about everything's from the freezer:

Friday - turkey casserole and dumplings (it was going to be curry but I decided that wasn't very friendly when I've got guests staying on Sunday - I can never get rid of the smell after cooking curry)
Saturday - out - pub quiz team Christmas meal (paid for with our saved winnings, so it shouldn't cost us too much)
Sunday - out - going to a gig - no idea what we're doing for food  - I'm cooking, apparently! It will only be pasta, though - I'll do an aubergine and tomato sauce to go with it as I've got some aubergines going soft in the fridge.
Monday - out for lunch; evening meal will be something snacky
Tuesday - BBQ chicken (from the freezer) with jacket potato and some sort of veg, before I go out (again!)
Wednesday - my only night in! I'll treat myself to a chilli cheese burger (naughty but nice)
Thursday - evening class night, so something from the freezer when I get in

Yikes - it looks even worse written down like that!

    Have a good week, y'all!
Back after a very long break!

Hi everyone :) My goodness, my plans are getting complicated. Baby loves her food so is now on 3 meals a day and supper (!) but is still on mush, apart from banana and bread which she can cope with. So more planning, trying to make it as easy as possible by making things for us that can be mushed up for her. I managed to come up with a meal plan just for baby to make the main one less complicated - but I didn't think any of you would be interested in the mush that one consists of!

DD has tea at same time as baby, me and DH have dinner once littlies in bed. DD's supper is banana or toast. Snacks can be dried or fresh fruit, or carrot (or nuts for me.) DD's puds can be fruit or soya yoghurt. DH takes flakes and banana for breakfast, whichever soup is on the go otherwise peanut butter and salad/jam sandwiches, yoghurt and apple for lunch.

    Saturday
B: Branflakes with dried mixed berries, sunflower seeds and almonds.
    L: Out
T: Mediterranean stew with greens and quinoa
D: Mixed bean chilli with greens and baguette

    Sunday
    B: Vanilla french toast
L: Green lentil loaf, veg, potatoes and gravy. Followed by ground rice pud.
T (all): Hummus sandwiches, peanut butter sandwiches, crisps and cake.
    D: Nachos

    Monday
    B: Pear muffins
    L: Tomato soup and toast
T&D: Pitta pizza, veg/salad and wedges

    Tuesday
B: Branflakes with dried mixed berries, sunflower seeds and almonds
    L: Avocado and hummus sandwiches
T&D: Cauldron sausages, beans, greens and mashed potato

    Wednesday
    B: Pear muffins
    L: Hummus sandwiches
T&D: Mixed vegetable lasagne with garlic baguette

    Thursday
B: Porridge with maple syrup and walnuts (dried mixed berries for DD)
L: Veg and red lentil soup
    T&D: Orzotto

    Friday
    B: Pear muffins
L: Veg and red lentil soup
T: Mixed veg satay with basmati rice
D: Sesame, peanut and vegetable stir fry with brown rice
Love and compassion to all x

    Hi guys

Bit more of a relaxed week for us this week, so we will be having/have had:

    Wednesday: Chilli Prawn Linguine
    Thursday: Vietnamese Veggie hotpot
Friday: Out at the cinema so houmous and sugar snap peas
Saturday: For lunch we had leftover Ribollita, and for tea it's Sweet Potato, Spinach and Lentil Dahl with a bag of ready cooked Uncle Ben's rice that we found at the back of the cupboard - and X-Factor!
Sunday: Going to La Tasca with the £15 offer for lunch so probably just a small stir fry for tea
Monday: Out at the cinema again so something small at work, a salad maybe
Tuesday: Spinach, mushroom and leek risotto
Wednesday: At cinema so houmous and sugar snap peas again
    Thursday: Vietnamese Veggie hotpot again!
Friday: Out seeing Russell Howard so going to Bella Italia for the £10 offer.

Breakfasts are toast and cereal (OH) and a boiled egg and porridge (me), lunches are some kind of pancetta based pasta (OH) and veg soup (me).

    Have great weeks everyone x

This week hasn't gone to plan at all, so I must try harder!!

Friday - sausage pasta bake with spinach

Saturday - going to my dad's for lunch, so will probably have something snacky for dinner

Sunday - sausage pasta bake with spinach

Monday - stuffed pepper with cous cous and [STRIKE]potato wedges[/STRIKE] polenta chips

Tuesday - [STRIKE]might be going out with my brother. If not, i'll either grab something from the freezer or have some Super Noodles :p[/STRIKE] just had crackers and cheese as had a sandwich at about 4pm for 'lunch'.

Wednesday - [STRIKE]southern fried chicken with beans and potato wedges[/STRIKE] chicken kiev with mashed potato and beans

Thursday - [STRIKE]jacket potato with cheese and beans[/STRIKE] had a toasted bagel (meant for lunch, ran out of time) with beans and fried eggs

Friday - [STRIKE]vegetable stirfry with rice[/STRIKE] I know this is at the back of my freezer and if I take it out, I might not be able to get everything back in again! SO...I will either have a kiev with something, or take some of my pasta bake out

Saturday - [STRIKE]chicken kiev with polenta chips and veg (not sure what yet)[/STRIKE] going to my sisters

Sunday - not sure yet, I might make some fishcakes, but it depends if I can make space in the freezer. I will have a poke round during the week and see what I can do!

Lunch will be leftover pasta bake and then bagels from the freezer with ham and cucumber. No lunch on Tuesday as i'm leaving work early for a hospital appointment.
