Is it really that time of the week again already?!
I've got a horrendously busy week coming up (Christmas starts here for me! :xmassmile) so just about everything's from the freezer:
Friday - turkey casserole and dumplings (it was going to be curry but I decided that wasn't very friendly when I've got guests staying on Sunday - I can never get rid of the smell after cooking curry)
Saturday - out - pub quiz team Christmas meal (paid for with our saved winnings, so it shouldn't cost us too much)
Sunday - out - going to a gig - no idea what we're doing for food- I'm cooking, apparently! It will only be pasta, though - I'll do an aubergine and tomato sauce to go with it as I've got some aubergines going soft in the fridge.
Monday - out for lunch; evening meal will be something snacky
Tuesday - BBQ chicken (from the freezer) with jacket potato and some sort of veg, before I go out (again!)
Wednesday - my only night in! I'll treat myself to a chilli cheese burger (naughty but nice)
Thursday - evening class night, so something from the freezer when I get in
Yikes - it looks even worse written down like that!
Have a good week, y'all!Back after a very long break!0 -
Hi everyone
My goodness, my plans are getting complicated. Baby loves her food so is now on 3 meals a day and supper (!) but is still on mush, apart from banana and bread which she can cope with. So more planning, trying to make it as easy as possible by making things for us that can be mushed up for her. I managed to come up with a meal plan just for baby to make the main one less complicated - but I didn't think any of you would be interested in the mush that one consists of!
DD has tea at same time as baby, me and DH have dinner once littlies in bed. DD's supper is banana or toast. Snacks can be dried or fresh fruit, or carrot (or nuts for me.) DD's puds can be fruit or soya yoghurt. DH takes flakes and banana for breakfast, whichever soup is on the go otherwise peanut butter and salad/jam sandwiches, yoghurt and apple for lunch.

Sunday - sausage pasta bake with spinach
Monday - stuffed pepper with cous cous and [STRIKE]potato wedges[/STRIKE] polenta chips

Wednesday - [STRIKE]southern fried chicken with beans and potato wedges[/STRIKE] chicken kiev with mashed potato and beans
Thursday - [STRIKE]jacket potato with cheese and beans[/STRIKE] had a toasted bagel (meant for lunch, ran out of time) with beans and fried eggs
