Hello out there
Any advice on best S & S Isa to transfer into from a Legal & General UK Growth ISA that matured after 5 years with virtually no growth. I am looking for low risk investment with possibility of at least some increase over the next 2/3 years. Can I transfer without fees?

You have about 50,000 options on that criteria.I am looking for low risk investment with possibility of at least some increase over the next 2/3 years.
You mean you want a crystal ball? Can I transfer without fees?
You can although it will depend on where you transfer it to.
If you want a guaranteed option then typically you are looking at longer terms than 2/3 years.
When you take a risk, sometimes you will make lots of money, sometimes little or no money and sometimes make a loss. The zig zag nature of investments means no-one knows what is best going forward. You can only make a judgement call and invest in line with your risk profile and hope for the best.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). I agree

If you are still considering investing in a Stock market ISA as opposed to a safe guaranteed Cash ISA, have you considered tracker funds, as these generally only incur a management fee as opposed to an initial charge and management fee.
Managed funds versus Tracker funds is a contentious issue. Of course Fund managers claim they will always beat the index, but over the medium term 5+ years most managed funds do not beat the index. Over longer terms 10+ years almost no managed funds beat the index!!
So if you opt for a tracker it is really a simple choice of which market (FTSE100, FTSE All share etc). Most trackers charge somewhere from 0.5% to 1% annual charge.0
