Weekend in Bath

Hello,
Does anyone have any knowledge of booking accomodation in Bath?
I would like to book the Friday 11th & Saturday 12th December, in or within walking distance of the center of Bath.
So far the best I can do is £130 in a guest house. Which is pretty good but if anyone can better that it would be a great help! Ideally I would just like to book the Saturday night but nowhere offers a one night booking.
Parking would be handy to.
Thanks in advance!

My husband and I had a weekend break in Bath in May. We stayed in a rather posh hotel called 'Bath Spa hotel' part of the Macdonald chain. We paid in full using tesco clubcard vouchers. Per night (when using vouchers) was £200. If you've got some saved this might make for a good price.
You could try a travelodge maybe.0 -

I don't have a Tesco clubcard but thanks for the idea.
Travelodge is surprisingly expensive Friday £76 & Saturday £85!

Don't forget to check the accommodation on "Trip Advisor" or similar. My wife is having a girls' weekend away that weekend and someone booked a guest house where previous guests had burst into tears on seeing the rooms...
Needless to say they've now booked somewhere else.
It will be one of the busiest weekends of the year owing to the Christmas Market of course.0 -

Any idea which one they booked, so we can avoid it?

Have you tried Premier Inn? (Think that's what it is) It's on the Lower Bristol Road slightly out of the centre but with parking and a 7-10 min walk into town, bus stop opposite too. Might be a little bit cheaper? Also, I think the Christmas Market ends on the 7th so you may be okay there.
Edit: It's not a premier Inn it's an express by holiday inn!I want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul, I want you to notice when I'm not around0 -

Thanks, just had a look and the rooms are £81 a night. Which seems a bit expensive for just a room. I will keep it in mind though.

It also includes continental breakfast.
Have you tried the 2 for 1 or family rate?
