Being good and trying to do a no spend week this week. Been home alone as MIL has been away for a week so have been living on baked pots, eggs, noodles, and tuna. Now have to plan proper meals again!

Thurs: MIL coming back today and having HM lasagne from the freezer with Garlic bread

Fri: Left over lasagne with Garlic bread, or spiced wedges

Saturday: HM Beef stew from the freezer (should be enough left over for lunch for me and OH) Might buy crusty rolls to have with cheese.

    Sunday
: MIL away for the day again so prob noodles and beans.

Monday: HM Cottage pie with frozen Bolognese as base.

    Tues:
    Left over Cottage pie.

    Wed
: HM Bolognese (+extra to restock freezer)

    Thurs
: Sausage and mash with gravy.

    Fri
: DVD night with Pizza, curly fries, chips and dip. Followed by sticky toffee pud from freezer.

Sat: Fish pie with extra going to freezer

Sun: KFC with curly fries or lattices.
Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you. Anne Lamott

It's amazing how those with a can-do attitude and willingness to 'pitch in and work' get all the luck, isn't it?

I seem to be managing to sort-of stick to the meal plans, but at least when I have them I have more of an idea of what to cook :)

Sun-Bakers oven shoulder of lamb (HFW meat book) with kale
Mo-Lamb and artichoke and pea risotto
Tu-Romanesco cauliflower cheese with leeks and bacon
We-spaghetti with ragu de lepre (hare sauce-from carluccios, in cupboard, need to use)
Th-Lamb and potato curry with naan and rice (you may recognise this from prev menu plans-I don't have a never ending supply of this, we just haven't quite got around to having it yet:o)
Fr-Whole baked fish with herby crust type thing (fish of some kind, depends whats good at fishmonger)
Sa-Roast chicken thighs with butternut squash chilli and sage (like this but with thighs rather than whole chicken, or maybe this )

Its easy to post in lines, just hit the enter, return button, whatever you want to call it
at the end of each sentence
and it posts in a new paragraph
but as they so short just looks like a new line
