What's this about?[/title]
The mobile provider orange is known for its promotions - and currently it's possible for contract customers to get paid to take out its free broadband and PAYG customers get bonus Tesco points for topping up

Free home broadband plus £15 cashback.
[/title]
Anyone with an Orange monthly contract over £15/mth can get free 8Mbps Orange broadband with a decent 10GB download limit even better, for a short time only, sign up via comparison site SimplifyDigital* and you can get £15 cashback on top. However only sadly the broadband coverage is only for 65% of the country, so first check if you can get it).
Non-Orange customers will pay £9.79/month for the same broadband, even with the cashback it's easily beaten by standalone providers in the Cheap Broadband article.
Other cashback deals from cashback sites aren't valid for those that take the free home starter package.

Get £8 Tesco deals with £20 PAYG top-ups.[/title]
A special voucher in the September-October issue of Tesco's free in-store magazine (usually by the tills) gets you 200 clubcard points with a £20 Orange top-up. These are worth £2 if used in store, though can be converted to £4 of vouchers for wine or cosmetics or £8 of deals voucher which gets days out, magazine subscriptions and more (see the Loyalty Points guide for full info on how this works).
The voucher is printed on page 5; just take it to the till and hand it over along with your Clubcard when it comes to paying. It expires 31 October, and can only be redeemed once (but there's nothing stopping you picking up more than one voucher).
For more Tesco bonus points offers see the full Clubcard Points Boosting deals note.

Lloks like for free orange BB you need to move your call package away from BT to Orange , this may have issues if you dial 0845/0870 a lot , ( don't know whether you can 1280 calls back ?)Any posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0

What about current Orange Broadband customers? We have been with Orange broadband for over a year, does this mean that current customers loose out yet again on these deals? Does any one know?

I must admit, we have no issues with the Broadband/telephone service that we have and can recommend it to everyone. :T
We had no issues with the move from BT at all, in fact, it was one of the easiest moves we have ever made and our call costs are a lot cheaper, especially with the Max package.:j0 -
Avoid Orange BB - customer service is terrible (in great contrast to their mobile service). I was with them for two years - very cheap, but just hope you never have a complex (or even simple) technical issue. The call centre operators are clueless.
I moved to PlusNet last year aand it's worth every extra penny i pay.0 -
don't know whether you can 1280 calls back ?
No 1280 override doesn't seem to work.
My calls moved to orange at start of the month and since then I've tried using 1280 on several calls. None are showing up in my BT recent calls.
There were no problems with the transfer of BB (from O2) & calls (from BT). There is no difference in download speed with O2. So no complaints so far.
On the downside there is a 10GB download allowance (vs. unlimited with O2), I'll lose the free caller id provided by BT and also no more free 0845/0870 calls. Can live with that for the free BB

had orange BB for a while (£5pm but included a second line with free calls)
BB ok initially then went downhill,
calls patchy
swapped to o2, twice the speed , more stable and given the offers were actually very competitiveAny posts on here are for information and discussion purposes only and shouldn't be seen as (financial) advice.0 -

Im in the same position. I am an existing Orange BB customer.
terms and conditions:
"Broadband and mobile offer not available to Business customers, Virgin OVP and SIM only customers or customers who are already on an existing Mobile and Broadband offer."0 -

According to the Simplify Digital site the Ts&Cs (click on 'package details' at the bottom of the info box) for getting the home starter package (8mp/s d/l and 10gb limit) require a £30/month contract to receive it free, less than that and you have to pay £9.79/month. I can't find any reference to minimum contract spend on the Orange site so assume any monthly contract will do if you go direct to them.
Also, if you already have Orange BB you can 'upgrade' to the new promotion if you sign a new 12 month mobile contract, you'll have to phone the sales line to do so though.
*note: all Orange BB contracts are for 18months*0
