Stupid Traffic Warden

Options
So i parked up to feed my kid, and the traffic ward could HEAR the car running and SEE ME and I opened the window to let her know and she carried on.

She slapped a ticket on there for parking for not even 4 minutes!

I appealed and I got refused and i have just paid.

Is there anything I can do?

£35 gone down the drain!

The women was a right C*w, she just was like "The car gets the ticket not you".

Oh I hate birmingham

    What was the ticket for?

I believe it is illegal in some places to sit in the car with engine running, but the Traffic Warden could have asked you to turn it off if that was the case.

Question is, was she a council c*w or a private c*w? Where were you parked? Can you copy/scan/photo all sides of the document given and host on tiny pic and copy url to this thread. Only bother if its a council issue.

If the TW had any decency they would have asked you to move.

I know what you mean about the air con but I do know a few folk who have been done for having the engine running

If it's a council issued PCN which you've paid then that's the end of the matter, you can't appeal it once you've paid.

If a private ticket that you've paid it'll probably require court action against the landowner and the PPC to get the money back.
  • were you parking in contravention? if so why do you object to paying the fine?

Problem is the OP has not yet been able to give full info as to what happened and if it was private/council. When there is more info then we could assist.

    Sorry, just got on now.

Its was the council, But I just wanted to know what to do if I ever face this issue any time soon :p

I was parked there for 2 minutes max, Stuck the bottle in the babies mouth and had to hold it.

I appealed and got a rather snotty email saying that even though I was there the parking warden was in the right.

The parking warden has something seriously stuck up her rear and I was going to punch her before the police office came over lol

I will post pics that they added to the email soon :)

I have never had any issues like this when I live in southampton!

It's the ''Traffic Warden'' that's stupid is it?

Yellow lines? Zig zags? Loading restriction? Residential bay? Pay and display bay? Shared bay? School crossing maybe!!!!

I'll bite my lip on that one rather than state the obvious.
