help with your utility debts

Options
about a year ago mabey a bit longer now i fell into considerable debt with my water and gas bill

water was my own silly fault but gas was a long standing problem from when i mooved into my property 3 years previous while i tryed to sort this out i felt like i was hitting a brick wall and like majority of us do i burried my head in the sand for a few more months before i came across some companies that were willing to give grants to help get you out of debt

i applied and was sucessful and since they were paid off i have been ontop of them and am in no debt what so ever and am a much happier person with no weight on my shoulders

i have found a website with all of the info on various companies offering this type of help

hope this can help a few others out as it did me

A shared programme of giving
By signing the British Gas Energy Trust application form you give your consent to be considered for funding from any of the trust funds administered by Charis – see details of these trusts below. The trusts operate within a shared programme with a common application form and assessment process. Completion of one application form potentially allows assessment for grants from four different trusts. All relevant information needs to be provided for assessment under each trust. E.g. Anglian Water bill to show eligibility for help from the Anglian Water Assistance Fund.
THE ANGLIAN WATER ASSISTANCE FUND
Who can apply to the Trust?
Any domestic customer of Anglian Water or Hartlepool Water can apply.
The Trust can help people through giving grants to:
Clear water and sewerage debts
The EDF Energy Trust
Similarly, the EDF Energy Trust is aimed primarily at clearing energy debt but in exceptional circumstances can help with other household debts and costs.
Who can apply to the trust?
Any domestic customer of EDF Energy can apply for help to clear electricity and gas debts. Again, it must be the account holder who applies.
Anyone living in a property supplied by EDF Energy can apply for a FAP. I.e. you do not have to be a current customer of EDF Energy.
The EOS Foundation
Who can apply to the Trust?
You can apply to the Foundation if you are a domestic customer of one of the following water companies:
Bournemouth and West Hampshire Water
Cambridge Water
Portsmouth Water
South East Water
Veolia Water East
Veolia Water South East
The Foundation can help by giving grants to:
Clear domestic water debts
Help with other essential household debts and costs (FAPs)

THREE VALLEYS WATER TRUST
Who can apply to the Trust?
Any domestic customer of Three Valleys Water can apply for help to clear water and sewerage debts. It must be the account holder who applies.
Anyone living within the regions supplied by Three Valleys Water can apply for a FAP.
The Trust can help by giving grants to:
Clear domestic water and sewerage debts
