This challenge used to run every week (thanks to Moozie and PAP) but I have not seen it in a while so I hope no one minds but I need this to keep me on track ...
Hello everyone
. Welcome to the weekly spend challenege. This challenge is open to anybody, no matter what financial place they are in.
On this thread please post an amount of money you wish to stay below within the week (Sunday to end of working day on Friday). This can be pennies or thousands it depends on the individual. Then next Saturday report back and pledge for the following week. Feel free to update this thread with daily spends if that keeps you on track.
This is a little bit of fun but for many it highlights the fact that maybe that magazine/chocolate bar isn't needed. Hopefully your spending habits can be changed forever.
Moozie was the founder of this challenge and here is a quote taken from her around last year

Hi - I was so far into the red last week its ridiculous, I really failed in style. I spent over £100 more than my budget
I bought some lovely shoes (2pairs) and whilst i normally say clothes are not counted in this challenge as I have a clothes budget there is nowhere near sufficent in my clothes budget for my new fabulous shoes!
So I will try to be good next week and will budget for a £19 spend please PP.
