Trouble at t'Halifax ISA mill??

Normally start taking the paracetamol late on the night of 5th April - just in case I have to ring the call centre to set up ISAs during the 6th.
But the online service appeared OK, this year, and set up fixed rate cash ISAs for myself / wife without obvious problem. Did each from our respective 'portfolios' and parked the required £6k in a joint current account (too many probs with a joint Web, last year, to risk). Only oddity was that successful completion of each attracted a message to the effect of 'will be in touch within 14 days' and that was it. No pseudo entry in the portfolio, no Email - nothing.
But yesterday (7th) £6k languishing still in current account - decided just had to ring them today. But needed more paracetamol first.
Today - £3k has disappeared from the current account (Transfer - backdated to 6th, so that's good) but the other £3k is still there. Summoned the courage and rang just after lunch. Got through after a 30min queue - and eventually established my ISA is funded, but not the wife's. Put on hold for a further 10mins - major security check with the wife - daft questions as to period required etc etc. Funds will be transferred overnight - will be backdated to 6th etc.
But, by then, had lost the willpower to enquire as to reference number and settled on asking for paper statements for each. In order I can 'add account' to each of the portfolios and nervously see what the state of play is. Did ask if general problems with online ISAs - no 'but we've had lots'. Didn't like to point out that was a reasonable expectation, given the date.
Do I cast an unfortunate spell on Halifax ISAs (average over last 3 years is 2 weeks to sort out funds / dates / periods - even dates of birth / address etc - following 6th Apr). Or is the absence of an account number general this year?

you have to add the roll number / sort code & acc number to your portfolio for any new account opened0

I think other people have had trouble opening two ISAs with the Halifax and funding from the same, joint current account. I'm not sure how they resolved it. Have a search about this forum.0

Thanks. I did realise that - but you can only do that when you know the account number etc - and I don't. So will patiently await the paper confirmation - which seems a bit daft when it was all done online?I think other people have had trouble opening two ISAs with the Halifax and funding from the same, joint current account. Thanks. Yes, did have an odd problem with that when I opened Stock Share ISAs last year. But didn't expect the same with a more straightforward cash ISA? Halifax didn't flag that up as an issue when I spoke to them - after the (non) event. But they seem fairly confident of retrospectively applying the money in the next couple of days.If you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0
