I'm finding it hard to get back into the groove after having been away for work. Have just been to the shops today with a basic mealplan as follows:

Thur - spinach, carrots and tortellini 'in brodo'; HM garlic bread
Fri - oven baked fish, HM wedges, salad
Sat - chicken, bacon & blue cheese salad
Sun - chickpea and roasted vegetable bake
Mon - HM pizza with sardines
Tues - beef in black bean sauce
    Wed - pasta with artichokes
Thur - (organic) veal escalopes in madeira sauce, mashed potatoes, veg.

I also bought a FR chicken, in case of a BBQ or if neighbours stop for dinner.
    Have a good week, everyone!

Feeling proud of myself at the moment cos I sat down and managed to meal plan right until the end of June yesterday. Ok, some of the meals are repeated, but being vegetarian, that tends to limit the amount that I can make, as I don't have a great amount of time to cook.

Here is our first week though:

M: Grassingtons Veggie Escalope, mash & brocolli
    Tu: Dinner at MIL's
W: Cauldron Spinach & Sweetcorn Crispbakes & salad
Th: Vegetable stir-fry in a plum & ginger sauce & noodles
F: Cheese & beans jacket potatoes & salad
    Sa: Dinner at M&D's
Su: HM Veggie Sausage pie & baked beans
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

    Hi everyone,

This is my plan for the coming week:

Saturday - beef, pepper and onion tacos (with leftover fajita spice and taco shells :D) with salad and cheese (bought whilst on BOGOF :D)

Sunday - minted lamb chops with boiled ptoatoes and salad / veg depending on weather. Strawberries and blueberries with 0% fat yogurt (slowly growing in the fridge ) on meringue nests

Monday - pasta and HM meatballs with tomato and vegetable sauce

Tuesday - grilled seabass (whoopsied) with lemon and parsley (frozen when i had too much) and butter, served with boiled potatoes and mixed vegetables. Dessert is cubed mango (39p in lidl ) with lime syrup (limes slowly growing legs in the fridge :o)

Wednesday - chicken thigh and aubergine curry with rice

Thursday - baked potaotes with ham, cheese and salad

Friday - leftover lamb (from freezer) with gravy, mashed potatoes, carrots and spinach.

I'm trying to lose a few pounds, and going to SW, so that menu should be fairly SW friendly :A.

Let's just hope I stick to it!

    Ali x
