Hi, I have been offered a loan through the broker, Mr Money, but cant seem to find any feedback for them, but I am probably looking in the wrong places as usual!

Has anyone here had any experience with them, good or bad, as I would like to know before I go ahead and pay brokerage fee. Many Thanks in advance!

Three words. Stay well clear. Come on, Mr Money? Sounds like it was a name made up by a 3 year old.
Going by many posts on these forums, you don't get anything after paying a broker fee. Just £50 or so out of pocket about sums it up.

    Hi

I work for Mr Money and I’m a bit surprised by the responses to the original post.

I think that the reason you can’t find anything online about our company is that our customers are happy with the service we provide them.

We work really hard to try and offer a good service to provide people with a loan and it would seem that the response in this thread is based on brokers in general, not specifically our business.

  • That response started off well, then got really arrogant! Is this an example of how you can expect to be treated by "Mr.Money" They dont even appear to have a website!

I work in Marketing and would suggest that whoever is acting as "spokesperson" takes a course in P.R and how to communicate.

  • I'm sorry that you feel my response came across as being arrogant. That was not the intention.

It is however very frustrating to read this thread and see that some people would judge us based on experience with other companies.

We always welcome constructive feedback and are constantly trying to make sure our process leads to maximum customer satisfaction.

We only charge a fee to some customers - depending on what there looking for. The fee can be anything between £25.50 and £58.50

Our offering to our customers is that we will help them with the best possible financial solution. This could be an Unsecured loan, Payday Loan (if they need a short term option) or debt help - we try and match them with the most suitable solution.

Our typical APR is about 23% But this often changes as we are always searching the UK market for the best options.

    Hope that helps

The simple advice is "Do not pay brokers a fee. They get paid hansomely by the lender for doing their job when you take out the loan".

There are plenty of brokers who will not charge you.

However, I have since seen the light.

Totally hacked off with this company, made payment over 2 weeks ago, they then gave me contact details of the lender direct. When I contacted the lender direct they had no recolection of my application.

So true to form Mr money (the middle man may i quote) took my £58.50 then didnt deliver, nice one. Try again. Steer well clear. Does anyone know any respectable lenders to people with a bad credit history??

Also to add to my misery I will probably have to wait ages now for my refund.
  • Hi Waetwell1

Sorry to hear that you didn't get what you wanted. I hope your refund issue has been sorted (we are happy to refund any customers not happy with our service) If it hasn't for any reason please contact us ASAP and I will make sure it gets done right away.
