Card Reader and Flash Drive, USB 2 - $5, FREE shipping!!

I ordered this card reader two weeks ago and just received it from Hong Kong. It is a GREAT deal for the price! You can use it as a flash drive when you put your SD card in it. I have used it up to a 1G card. The unit itself measures 3 inches by 1 inch and can easily slip into one's pocket for easy transport

That's a pretty clever idea. Might have to get one of them!

  • Useful little things on that site. Picked up one of them, and also a USB LAN interface.

    Can someone please help?

I have bought the item listed in this post.... received it today, and it reads what I have on my sd card fine, but when I try to delete anything or move anything onto the card, it says the "disk is write protected"!!

Obviously I have checked that it's not write-protected.... do you think there is a problem with the card reader, or am I just being thick?!

    Hope someone can help!

Hope you're all sure it's genuine. I've seen that site spammed here before by people whose only ever posts have been to extol its virtues. I'm interested, just going to check things out before sending money though!

EDIT: Looks as though I may have been overcautious (which is possibly the safe bet) and that all is above board with bargains to be had :)
    Can I help?
