in Site feedback and Forum Help
I am having some troubles with the MSE site. for some reason from yesterday I am unable to thank people, to view who has thanked someone, or put my posts into paragraphs. :s Its very strange.Does anyone know what might be causing it? I have tried clearing cache/cookies etc.... When I click on thanks or view thanks it just takes me to the top of the thread I was reading.

    Hi this might be a long shot but that happened me before. I was using the firefox add on No script & it was turned off for MSE so maybe thats your problem :confused:

    Thanks for your reply.I am using Internet explorer 7. I haven't changed any settings since the last day I could access MSE ok. Does anyone know who i'd need to email to get an answer?

    I'm still having problems with this. Emailed the webmaster on the 20th but haven't had a reply yet. Guessing he's very busy though with the amount of members on this forum. Does anyone have any idea's in the mean time? The most annoying thing is not being able to put my replies into paragraphs. They just look really messy and 'busy' when your trying to read them.

    That's been happening to me too, just started randomly about 15 minutes ago, yayyy it actually posted

    I seem to be having problems posting links today, have managed a couple but it wouldnt let me do them at first, in bottom corner keeps saying 'done, but with errors on page' witht he little yellow triangle and exclamation mark inside

    Also doesnt seem to be letting me thank people

    Is anyone else having same problem?

    Yes -been unable to thank and quote on a couple of occasions and had the same yellow triangle too. Also smileys weren't working !!! Seems to be ok now though - maybe it is pre-maintenance work for the weekend :o
    I'd rather laugh with the sinners than cry with the saints - the sinners are much more fun ;)

    it just kept telling me my reply needed to be at least 10 characters, which it was!

    i even emailled the forum help thing, as i couldn't pm anyone either !


    seems to work now - yay !!

    Im getting exactly the same at the mo and its driving me nuts.
    Seems to allow the posts after trying about 5/6 times.

    Try switching temporarily to a different browser.

    Others seem to be finding that is sorting it for now.
