Car buyer wants to return it after spraying it

My son sold a car on Ebay for £890. The buyer wants to to return it as she says the steering column and rack are faulty although it was inspected and test driven at the point of sale. My son, who sold the car in good faith having had no problem with car, has offered her a partial refund of £80 in full and final settlement but she wants a full refund. We don't believe she's entitled to a full refund because she has had part of the bodywork repainted since she bought it. Wondered what your thoughts are on this point?

To the op. It has been sold and how would you she hasnt done anymore damage.
I wouldnt give her a penny. She has test drove it so theres no coming back. She would be told the same by trading standards. Shes not got a leg to stand on. xx0/2013
