Babyshow - cheap tickets or discounts?

Being 20 weeks pregnant I'd quite like to go to the Babyshow at the NEC in May (they're also holding them in Glasgow and London). The tickets, at £10.95 a piece in advance, plus a 95p booking charge per ticket so £24 if I take Mr Ribena as well
are a bit on the pricey side for someone who's not only a Confirmed Moneysaver but who's trying to watch the pennies for when the baby gets here
Wondered if anyone had spied any discounts, or even better, FREE tickets at all?
Many thanks!

Cannot remember which magazine, but one of the baby magazines gives a discount for the baby show , keep looking at them in WH smiths etc and when it advertises it just remember the small code to get the discount - no need to buy!
I went in October to the london one and plan to go to the NEC I got loads of freebies (as I kept on walking round and getting more! lol)
nice day out
Good luck with baby I am due in the next 3 weeks

The competitions page on https://www.netmums.com has some for the Glasgow baby show, also it has some for the bump baby and beyond show at Kempton Park.
I got some free Olympia baby show tickets from netmums last year and from the TotsBots website a couple of years ago.0 -
Hello and thanks to both of you - the freebies are why I'm going really, lol!
Given me a few more ideas of places to start looking!
Good luck Smits, must be exciting and scary all at once to know it could be any time now!! Hope all goes well and best wishes - look forward to hearing your good newsI :heart2: Boots

From the Volvo Website (they sponser it): -For discounted tickets contact the ticket hotline on 0870 122 1313 and quote 'Volvo' - you will get a reduction of £3 per ticket.

Have just noticed that https://www.totsbots.com are giving them away for the Glasgow show. They seemed to be giving them away on a first come first served basis so if you wait a month or so and keep checking you might be able to get some for the NEC. Lots more giveaways were around in the month or so before the show when I was looking for Olympia tickets. I found out about some through https://www.loquax.co.uk0

In the April Issue of Practical Parenting (I'm a subscriber) you can get a 20% discount by quoting "PP" when booking..0

Hi,
I just called to book and the Volvo discount is now only offering £1 off the ticket price for Glasgow, just incase anyone was going to use it. I guess I should have tried the Practical Parenting one but the man was very rude and made me a bit flustered!
I did contact Totbots and they are sending me one free ticket so many thanks to Lemoncurd for the tip!

We went last year with coupons fromThe Evening Mail (Birmingham) i think or it could have been The Metro.. not sure, pregnancy fog still there.. anyway check out the local papers on the run up. It was for about a pound or two off but it pays for the parking. Last year the lifts were out of action on the day we went and there were loads of mothers struggling with travel systems trying to get from the train station. It is quite a walk, especially when you waddle!
Don't forget to barter with the vendors, they usually knock off money or throw something in. It is a great place to get stocked up0 -
Hello,
I have a business that I run from home around children (didn't want to go back to work and have lots of fun doing this instead!)
Three of us who do the same thing are having a stand at the Baby Show and we have a few spare tickets if anyone would like them.
