  • Last I heard, most of the countries using the Euro were abroad.

(Hint: look at the countries using the Euro in the list on that page, and compare how many 'No Fee Charged's vs 'no comment's)
    Conjugating the verb 'to be":
-o I am humble -o You are attention seeking -o She is Nadine Dorries

It's been discussed on here http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=1510469 for the last week.

And no, I don't know why that should be on the Savings & Investments forum......

Another nail in the coffin for the Flex Account!!

Just waiting for the announcement that they'll slap on the "handling" charges soon!

Got a Euro Travel Moneycard from LTSB when I moved from Nationwide - that'll do for Spain methinks! (Yes, I know there is no fee from NW in Spain but it's the principle!)
I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂

Nothing has changed as far as the FlexAccount and Spain are concerned, is LTSB free to use?

The Travel Money card is loaded with Euros with no fee before you go, and is used like a Visa card, with no fee, as long as the transactions are all in Euros.

But they will take a chunk of commision on the purchase of Euro's to load the card surely, I bet that it isn't as good a rate as NW Visa Debit Card gives.

Liverpool Victoria changed to be as bad as everyone else and sold out to Morgan Stanley. Post Office, Abbey Zero and (closed to new applicants) Lombard Direct are the MasterCards that do not charge for foreign purchases. Abbey Zero does not charge a fee for cash withdrawals but does charge 27.9% APR. You can aviod this by pre-loading.
