My Outlook 2007 has decide not to talk to Sky this afternoon. I didn't have any problems this morning.
Basically it says that it can't support the encryption type - strange did this morning - and has done for years!
I have tried changing from POP to IMAP but it just won't go through.
I've printed the help and settings from Sky and tried to re-set without luck.
It's a real pain logging into Sky for all the emails, so if anyone has any ideas I could use I would appreciate getting Outlook up and running again.
Thanks

Sky are working on it but if you change your POP3 to pop.googlemail.com and SMTP to smtp.googlemail.com it will work.
Ive had this message,
''Your server has unexpectedly terminated the connection. Possible causes for this include server problems, network problems, or a long period of inactivity. Account: 'pop.tools.sky.com', Server: 'pop.tools.sky.com', Protocol: POP3, Port: 995, Secure(SSL): Yes, Error Number: 0x800CCC0F''
so I changed to google mail I can now get e-mails but cant send any e-mails and get this message,
''The host 'smpt.googlemail.com' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly. Account: 'pop.googlemail.com', Server: 'smpt.googlemail.com', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 465, Secure(SSL): Yes, Socket Error: 11004, Error Number: 0x800CCC0D''
So can anyone help.
