Half board hotel £45 for weekend in Salou to go with Ryanair - Reus flights

At hotelopia.co.uk, Hotel Sol Daurada, Salou is £45 per room (2 people) for April 16-20 and April 23-27. May be other dates. Go through Quidco for another 12% off. A very cheap long weekend used in conjunction with free/inexpensive Ryanair flights. The hotel is within walking distance to Port Adventura. HTH

Thanks to sloppychops - There is also a 10% off code for Hotelopia bringing price down to £40.50 and about £35.70 after Quidco cashback.

    Hiya

    I stay at the Sol Costa Daurada in November last year and the hotel itself is lovely and has a nice warm indoor pool and a cheap bar (well for a hotel bar)
    It is about a 10 minute walk (apparently) to Port Aventura and I wouldn't doubt it as you can see it from the hotel.
    There isn't much else in the immediate vicinty of the hotel but 10-15 min walk gets you to the sea front and various bars and shops etc

    Their own website is coming out at 247 EUR,the quote above is the total price for the stay not per night if thats what you thought.

    Be careful if you get a taxi from the airport,think it was about 28 euros a few yrs ago,a lot cheaper by coach.

    I'm about to book for 4 days as a surprise for my fiancee. Any tips/advice on the area at all? Or even the hotel? It looks very nice and stunning for the price.

    Thanks so much MKS. I've just booked 4 days in April using Quidco for £45 (plus cashback) so around £35.70 for that. My flights return from Glasgow Prestwick to Reus are £110 for both of us return. That's under £150 for a 4 day break at a 4 star hotel. Exactly what I was looking for at this time of year. Can't thank you enough.
