Weekly Spend Challenge W/C 15th Feb

This challenge used to run every week (thanks to Moozie and PAP) but I have not seen it in a while so I hope no one minds but I need this to keep me on track ...
Hello everyone
. Welcome to the weekly spend challenege. This challenge is open to anybody, no matter what financial place they are in.
On this thread please post an amount of money you wish to stay below within the week (Sunday to end of working day on Friday). This can be pennies or thousands it depends on the individual. Then next Saturday report back and pledge for the following week. Feel free to update this thread with daily spends if that keeps you on track.
This is a little bit of fun but for many it highlights the fact that maybe that magazine/chocolate bar isn't needed. Hopefully your spending habits can be changed forever.
Moozie was the founder of this challenge and here is a quote taken from her around last year

Ok I am going for £30 again this week to include everything that is not budgetted elsewhere. I am hoping to make it this week as I have been red the last two weeks.
Let me know your results and pledges and I will update the first post and turn you red or green.
I have to go and buy a new wing mirror today (just the mirror bit) as I got in the car yesterday and found it was not there. No broken mirror on the ground or anything just gone not quite sure what happened.
Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

Yay I love GREEN.

I was thinking of joining this thread. This week however seems a little redudant for me, as I'm going to see my Dad and HOPEFULLY, I won't spend ANY money. (In fact, hopefully he might slip me a few quid. =D)
So, actually, I'd like to challenge myself to a £0 spend this week!0 -
Ouch! I don't like being red - it hurts!!!
Welcome Olliegami!! Good luck on the NSW
Forgot to say I'm going to include all entertainment, going out etc this week as I'm a tad skint. Plus I'm working or rehearsing every night this week, so I think I'll be too tired to party!:p Really need to get on with learning lines for the other play and catching up on uni work - aside from the play I've begun to let everything else slide a bit, and that needs to stop if I want to stay on course for my First!!2019 Aim: Save £10,000
Don't sacrifice what you want most for what you want now0 -
Thanks for new challenge pointypenguin :A
I have £26 in my (hopefully magic again) purse so that's what I set myself. This includes a trip to cinema ( on 'bargain' monday ) & any top up groceries that may be needed. DD has been invited to friends for 2 days next week
so that should help & the rest of the time can be spent in the garden, at the park or anything else that's free
Good luck all

Welcome Olliegami I have added you to the list. You are in good company have Piquant has tried the NSW week a few times so F_F seems to be good a multiple NSDs.
ladymay sounds as if you have a very busy week ahead. Well done on being on course for a first that is no easy feat.
Went to get my wing mirror and it cost £23 which is not great but could have been much worse. I also got the M&S dine in deal for tonight so looking forward to that, it is going to be yummy. I also got shoes reheeled for £4.50 and petrol in the car. As you can see I am trying to get all my spending out the way today. I think I am going to try and lay low for the rest of the day to make sure I don't spend anymore.Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30
