I am looking to get a new mobile phone on a 12 month contract (i know 18 month deals offer better value) as i like to change my phone every year i am currently on 3 and have been for over 5 years but there upgrade offer sucked so i have cancilled and am looking at 3 phones.
The samsung tocco (£14.68)
The lg renoir (£18.35)
The samsung pixon (£24.47)
The above prices are all on t-mobile combi 30 300 min 200 text perfect for my usage they are all effective costs after cashback (i know this means sending off vouchers on time and complete with bill but have done this before with no problems.) Can anybody say if the pixon best in reviews and on paper is worth the extra £10 ish a month the renoir looks great but gets bad reviews of its touch screen. I am looking for a better camera as a posed to any other features.

Go for Renoir.
Tocco - No WiFi, average phone.
Renoir - Not a smartphone (LG Propriety Flash OS) but GR8 phone. Bad reviews? where?
Pixon - Superb phone BUT no WiFi.0 -

I have an LG Renoir.
Like everything else, it gets easier to use as time goes on. Sometimes when you pres the screen nothing happens, but U think it's just a case of getting the knack - ie you hold your finger on for a fraction longer.
I'm really please with mine. The battery life is good too..0 -
Had the LG Renoir mobile for a month now. As said above touch screen is very good and camera best around. Low light performance is good if you select highest ISO speed. Music sound very good with Dolby. My problems are minor, but annoying. Silly little seperate stylus needed a parking slot in the phone. Screen protector needed replacing after a week and not many spares available yet. Typing text needs a highlighting, copying and pasting facility. Difficulty in downloading all web BBC videos because my IP address from O2 is in in UK, but I am in UK. BBC iPlayer will not run. Lots of file formats will not run. I think some of this could be put right in a software update from LG!
Still well worth owning - its a real head turner!0
