Halifax online

Hi

Is anyone else having problems accesing the halifax site?

My phising filter is flagging it up as a phising site at the log in screen, i dont think it is as i have used the same link for years and have tried navigating to the page via halifax's homepage with the same result.

The phising filter is the one built into internet explorer on vista

    It did it for me!

I have no idea why. I've also used the same link and accessed it via the home page.

    Very strange.

    Mine is working fine!

I don't expect it would make any difference, as it's basically the same site, but have you tried https://www.bankofscotlandhalifax-online.co.uk/_mem_bin/formslogin.asp (Bank of Scotland version)?

Has Microsoft done a update in the last day or so
  • Yup me to I just got this. In fact I just posted a message to the savings board to see if someone else has had the same problem.

I'd have thought that Halifax with all their might have 'allowed' this to happen

Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

just spoken to Halifax and the lady said that although the page said 'phishing' it was an error and she couldnt explain but said that everything was okay
my problem was that i logged in then up came a page that said.
Our email dont seem to be getting through to you please confirm your email address, then asked for my pasword and then my favourite book. i wasnt too sure so i logged on again and the same came up.
i filled it in but just in case i have changed my password tonight at her suggestion. Anyone else had the same problem
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
