I was looking at this the other day. its priced at 69.99 at the moment. does anyone know if these are any good and easy to use? not bothered what it looks like as it will be hidden away in the tv unit anyway.0

Also it is not dual format and will only take + discs.

Im not to bothered about timer recording as i mainly want one to record programmes on in the evening to watch in peace and quiet once kids in bed. What I would like to know though is I have a old 8mm video camera and loads of tapes of the kids when they was little. Would I be able to connect my camera up to this and record the tapes onto dvd?0
