  • I was looking at this the other day. its priced at 69.99 at the moment. does anyone know if these are any good and easy to use? not bothered what it looks like as it will be hidden away in the tv unit anyway.

    yeh despite the good laugh i am actually interested myself in finding out if this is any good. i'm looking to get one but don't need anything flashy but obviously would like the best machine for the best bargain price :-D

    comments that his will not do timer-recording and it does not state that it does timer recording in the specs.

    Also it is not dual format and will only take + discs.

    Brilliant price, but I'm still holding off for a better model at the sub £50 price....

  • Im not to bothered about timer recording as i mainly want one to record programmes on in the evening to watch in peace and quiet once kids in bed. What I would like to know though is I have a old 8mm video camera and loads of tapes of the kids when they was little. Would I be able to connect my camera up to this and record the tapes onto dvd?
