If you had a £10 how much could you make?

Options
The challange will run from the 1st January 2009 for 6 months. Then we will post our final amounts and crown a winner!

I was chatting with my sister who said her partner was haveing a competition with his mate to see who could make the most money over 6 months with £10 we will start on the 1st January 2009.. I thought that sounds like fun. Anyone want to join me?

So you have £10 how can you make it into more?

-Gamble and win?
- Buy stuff and sell for more?
- Quidco offers etc
- Lend it to someone and charge interest
- Save it and make interest

Get the idea:confused:

one more thing if you buy something for £10 then sell it for profit (take out any fees) if you make £10 profit you will have £20 so you can do something with the £20 to make more money.:j

So anyone got any ideas or want to play?

They do say you need money to make money.

Who can make the most in 6 months?

I am off to put my £10 into a free scratchcard site then withdraw it so i can use the £10 to make free scratchcard money everyday! :rotfl:

Thanks eveyone for expressing an interest we now have challangers!

This sounds like fun. So if you put your £10 into a scratchcard and withdraw it etc, you can still put the £10 somewhere else to carry on letting it make money for you?

It may be worth including match betting

    This could go under :
Gamble and don't care whether you win or lose.
You will need to push your £10.00 to £50 to get moving ...But I would say after 6 months you would be the leader of this challenge .

I might be up for this come january, but a quick question. Assume you have made some headway and you now stand at £50 - does all the 50 have to into one pot/item/scheme or can it be split as much as you want - ie - buy one item for £50, or buy 100 items at 50p?
No Longer works for MBNA as of August 2010 - redundancy money will be nice though.

I don't think it should matter what you did with the £50, it would make sense once the amount gets bigger (hopefully) that you split it into different money making schemes. Well in my eyes it does lol
