Halifax will accept ISA money in now without certificate

I have just spoken to a very nice lady at the Halifax. They apparently are all aware that the FSCS certs are going to be held up. The staff have had instructions to accept money from old Icesavers now and let them forward the certificate at a later date. The staff had this info on Tues 2nd Dec.
They suggested taking along any paperwork which shows you as an icesaver - ie printoff.
Good news if you have arranged the fixed rate as easy access rates are dropping like stones.
