I just asked...:

you: hello
you: is the nokia 6030 really free for 12months on O2?
Kylie: it is but the 12 months free line rental is redeemed as cashback
you: ok - how do I do that and how much is line rental?
Kylie: it is £30 a month and you get 4 cashback vouchers at £90 each
Kylie: you send them to us at months 5,7,9,12 and then we will send you a cheque for £90Being bored is so boring Im bored of it... :rotfl:0 -
I purchased this in November. They seem OK so far - havn't sent off for any cashback yet, but the Phone came fast. The phone has just gone onto ebay, still boxed as I'm getting fed up of all these free phones

I have had a few of these deals. I still don't know how they make their money but it worked out free for me so I can't complain. One time I did have trouble getting my money back but not with this company and in the end I was not out of pocket.0 -
This looks a great offer but got my fingers burnt with Forward Cellular how long has this company been going and do they pay the cash back on time?0

I see that there is a compulsory insurance sign up that you would have to cancel although there is a free period to start.0

You can also get £25 from quidco for doing this deal by following the mobileshop link there - in effect you can be paid for having the phone. I'm doing the same thing with a Sony Ericcson phone and have just made my first claim which seems to have been processed OK - I received an acknowledgement by e-mail of the claim. Cancelling the insurance is no hassle. These are really very good deals I think.0

Receiving acknowledgement of a claim for money and actually receiving that money are two totally different things!0

I have nothing but praise for mobileshop as I got one of their 12 month free deals just over 6 months ago and received an email telling me when they had received my cashback claim and also when the cheque would be posted to me and it all turned out to be true as I have the money in the bank so I think you should be ok with them. I just use the sim card fromthis deal in my v3 pink that I got on another contract recently as the phone I got wasn't very good and I sold that phone on ebay to actually make a small profit over the 12 months :j0
