Hello, I read this section of the form daily but dont post much. I know lots of you make reindeer food and i wondered if anyone would be able to make a couple more to donate to Post Pals (www.postpals.co.uk) in the past we had someone who donated reindeer food which we sent to the children (all fighting serious illnesses) but only have about 10 this year and we could do with about 40 more but dont have many resources but I was wondering if lots of people made up just a couple of extra please we would be able to send some to all the families. Thank you x :xmastree:

Hi, I am making some for my childrens' xmas fayre. I would love to be able to help, I could donate about 50 bags if thats ok. Please pm me to let me know where I send them etc, and if I can be of any further help.
I've had a quick look at the website but have got too upset to read. I've always considered myself lucky to have two happy healthy children, but this just brings it to the fore what happens in families less fortunate and the heartache they go through all the time, not just xmas.

If you put Reindeer Food into Google or Yahoo then lots of different pages come up.
Here's just one example:

Maybe some snowmen soup would be welcomed too?
Or any other small bits that the generous crafters here can knock up in bulk that you can think off? I will have to move the thread eventually to the charities etc board but I'll keep it on here as long as I can get away with
It's a shame that they haven't got charity status really as I think they'd be a brilliant nominee in next years MSE charity give away... but I think from memory they definitely have to be a charity
Maybe something to suggest to the people running it? They'd probably find it a lot easier to get funding and support from companies who often are happy to give - mainly because they can write a certain amount off but only if it's a charity I think...DFW Nerd #025DFW no more! Wow, I've never heard of Post Pals but would really like to send some reindeer food, thanks for posting OP! I've got some hessian left over so can make up some little sacks to put the food in.
I've made my reindeer food with oats and coloured sugar crystals (just added a few drops of food colouring to the sugar and stirred) as I understand glitter can be harmful to birds is eaten.
I have used these tags for the reindeer food I've made fr my boys and friends... http://organizedchristmas.com/printable-magic-reindeer-food:wave: If you want the rainbow, you've got to put up with the rain :wave:0 -
