I cant get into my home banking, paypal, or now my National Lottery page! Whenever I try and log into certain sites, that is the message I get. Does anyoe have any ideas why this would be?
NB The banking has been like that for about a week, but I can get in at work. I just discovered the other 2 problems today.

I had a similar problem recently and it was fairly simple to sort.
This is assuming you are using Internet explorer.
Right click your Internet Explorer icon, go to properties and the advanced tab.
Scroll down to the security heading and ensure the SSL 2.0 and SSL 3.0 boxes have a checkmark in them. Reboot your machine and see if it works.
Its also possible that you have a firewall which is stopping you accessing secure sites. If thats the case you will need to review your firewall settings.

Those boxes are ticked. I have a firewall but haven't changed the settings recently. Will have a look at again it tomorrow. Thanks!0

Port 443 is SSL, check that isn't blocked.

are you using norton? I am (unfortunatly) and this happened to me the other week.... do a live update then it should be fine (if thats the problem of course!)0
