Kaupthing Edge Site Problems

Sorry if this has already been asked, but I have ploughed through an awful lot of the comments and not seen it.
I can log into the site with with no problem, however when I fill in the form for withdrawal it comes back and and asks for confirmation. On clicking yes it simply displays the filled in withdrawal form again. Also I sent a secure message, that seemed successful, but when trying to read it I get a error message. Am I alone in this? If so I guess that I am making an error somewhere!

Hi, guys, may not be the same answer as yours, but I found exactly the same problem after upgrading to the Internet Explorer 8 Beta. Using another browser (eg Google Chrome) fixes the problem.
  • Site doesn't recognise my log in details which I know are right. Am assuming site may reappear as ing shortly.

    Same problem.

Withdrawl - ends up on the same page after clicking submit.
Send secure message - Error: Microsoft VBScript runtime error '800a0006' Overflow: 'Cint' /listrequests.asp, line 275

They must have had too many withdrawl requests and too many secure messages!
You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair. I'm going to take myself off the electoral role like I should of done ages ago and move to the Caribean. I already brought my plane ticket, all be it a refundable 1.
  • Been trying to login for two days and always get blocked at the memorable word. The other side? On the day they 'collapsed', I transferrred £30,000 by CHAPS to my new account there from my holding account. Yes, I kicked myself and now just need to make sure this deposit is displayed on my page, so I can print it out as additional evidence for any possible compensation application.

I've had no problems logging in to KE site but as mentioned earlier couldn't withdraw. Tried again just now, still wouldn't let me withdraw for monday so did a little lateral thinking and tried tuesday. Whizzed through it so maybe KE doesn't like mondays anymore!!! And, spoke to ING earlier about inability to withdraw, they still don't have sight of our accounts so couldn't help, referred me to KE telephone number. I don't think so. Anyway, if you're not in a rush, try Tuesday to withdraw.

Forgot to say. When the withdrawal had gone through I was offered the option of printing out the transaction details which of course I accepted. Don't recall that ever happening before?

Just been into the account again and changed the withdrawal date to 14th and got a Withdrawal from Savings Confirmation, so it looks like gremlins in the system. No change in my statement but not too sure when that happens anyway, probably not until the 14th.

    Great minds think alike!!!
  • Thanks for the replies. I normally use SeaMonkey, which has been fine in the past. Yesterday I used IE with the same failure. Happily I have just carried out a transaction with no problems. Just need to see if the money arrives in my current account later this week! :T
