If you are able to connect a microphone to your PC this may be a way of saving on your phone calls.
Download the free software, buy credit and your away. Have spoken to our friends in NZ for £0.02 per minute.
Best bit it's free for SKYPE to SKYPE users.

Skype out charges to call non Skype Customers,at all times 24/7.
01/02 1.5p a minute.

Their Intl rates are not that good either.EG:18185 only charge 0.5p a min to call NZ.
Hardly money saving.Cheaper to use 1899/18185 in conjunction with free evening and weekend call supplier surely.0 -
Only going to use for NZ, can talk with friends at my house to our mutual friends in NZ without having to pass the phone round, which is worth the addition 1/2pence. But it's free for SKPKE to SKYPE or am I missing something. Be nice to me I'm new at this!0

Don't like Skype Hype, much prefer proper VoIP provider and use my ATA with a normal phone attached.

Skype has its uses. I use it on my Pocket computer on Windows Mobile.
With its built in microphone and speaker I can hold it like a mobile phone and use any wireless connection I can find on my travels.
Great for phoning abroad as you can use from any wireless access point anywhere and only get charged 1.1p / minute to call all the major countries including calling home to the UK.
Far from being a kids toy its a useful tool for anyone - especially the majority of us who don't want to learn Geek.qui tacet consentire -

YesI am running Skype for Windows Mobile 2003. As far as I know its the only product which does voip with Pocket Pcs.

I have no direct experience of using voip, but am very surprised by the last remark. Are you saying that other advertised and discussed services do not work? Or that you haven't heard of other products?0
