Hi,
Im looking to set up my other half with broadband. Shes a fairly light user and wouldnt use more that 2GB per month, shes also looking to move in a few months so doesnt want to be tied into a 12 month contract. After looking around the best deal Ive found is from a company called naims.com?
They offer 2MB broadband with a 2GB capacity for only 12.99 per month
No contract
And a small start up fee of £47
Can anyone here comment on this company as I've never heard of them, I was also looking at metronet and adsl4less, but this beats their similar deals.
Any comments or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Jay.

I dont have any experience with naims, but, if you are looking for a similar package/deal, my current provider (zazizam) offers a similar package (2mb with 2gb usage) - at £11.99 and includes their lower phone provider package. i have used them for a long while, on 512k unlimited, with phone option, and everything has been fine, no downtime, fast speeds, I don't have much experience with Customer services, as the service has been faultless - though I did contact them when i need to update my billing details, and everything was ok then
hope this helps, if not about the supplier you wanted to know about0 -
hi thanks for the response, zazizam does seem a good deal though I dont really want to have to change the phone provider to save £1 per month. Plus the missis wont like changeing from BT.
I have noticed that both zazizam and naim have extremely similar looking sign up pages, looks like they could be connected.
Anyone elses experiences of naim would be greatly appreciated.
EDIT:
Naim also offer £2 off if you sign up for the discount telephone service, surely they must be the same company.0 -
perhaps they could be (or they just copied each others design) - though my experience is with zazizam, and not the other
and btw - with zazizam you can get equipment from like ebuyer, instead of themselves - it will save you some more money- think it is about £20 for a usb modem, and 2 filters @ ebuyer

hi, thanks again,
ive sent naims.co.uk an email, im pretty sure they're the same now. your can get the broadband from naims for 10.99 if you sign up for the telephone dsicount otherwise its 12.99, which is still very good.
All i really want to know is whether this company are reliable etc.0 -
From what Ive found out they're part (resellers) of v21.co.uk, except without the 12 month contract. Gonna give them ago!!0

Also have a look at V21/Fast4 who have a 2M/2G package for £11.98 (reduced to £9.98pm if you sign up for their FreeTalk service) see www.v21.co.uk or ring 0800 089 2121. I'm using it and it works well (so far!).
PS Their FreeTalk is nothing to do with the new Dixon's VOIP product of the same name! I'm sure there will be some legal wrangles before long...0 -
Yes Ive seen that deal, except if ties you into a 12 month contract. So to me the naims.co.uk is more attractive and only a quid more (12.99 without freetalk or 10,99 with), they give the exact same service as v21.co.uk as its supplied from their own pipe. Got this confirmed in an email today.
Very good deal, cant believe it hasnt been posted here before!0
