Halifax Credit Card Transfer to Current Account

Options
Does anybody know if you can transfer Halifax credit into a current account?
If so, do you know how much they charge?
I've been doing it with Amex and they charge a fixed fee of £50, so I was wondering if it was possible with the Halifax card as well. I tried to call them, but the operator couldn't understand the question and she kept asking me if I wanted a credit card or not...

Unfortunately Halifax is not a card with SBT (Super Balance Transfer) facility so you cannot do this.

Only a few rather special cards allow you transfer funds directly into your Bank Account. These include Egg, Egg Money, Post Office Card and any card administered by MBNA (including the Virgin range of cards).

In addition MINT periodically issue Credit Card Cheques that can be paid into a Bank Account at Balance Transfer rates. However this is the least satisfactory option because the cheques cannot be ordered and, unless you already have them, you never know precisely when they will drop through your letterbox.
